The Inner Harbor in Victoria BC (Canada) is stunningly beautiful. You’ll need to fly into Vancouver and take the ferry over to the island. The ferry is huge. It holds several hundred cars, trucks, etc. You park your vehicle on one of the levels and you go to the seating area inside or outside. Inside there is a cafeteria serving all types of food. When you get on the island you need to head for Hotel Grand Pacific on the Inner Harbor across from the parliament.

This is the most scenic place to stay. The views from the front of the hotel are amazing. The Inner Harbor is full of boats. Flowers are everywhere. Seaplanes are taking off throughout the day.

There are restaurants along the harbor with outdoor seating overlooking the water. The parliament building is next door to the hotel also overlooking the water. There is a guided tour of the parliament building which is explains their parliamentary system, their relationship with the Queen of England, and the importance of the indigenous people in British Columbia. It is a beautiful building inside and out and a great tour.

While you are on the island you must visit the world famous Butchart Gardens.

Go on a wine tour in Cowichan Valley, visit Craigdarroch Castle, visit the Bug Zoo, and check out the indigenous totem poles.

Go on a whale watching tour or try high tea at the world-famous Empress Hotel. Maybe even take a ride on a seaplane. Or just hang around the Inner Harbor with gorgeous views and great restaurants.
