Snow Mountain
Snow Mountain is a wonderful winter destination with a 400-foot snow-covered tubing hill and a enormous snow-covered play area. Fly down the slopes on Tube Runners or brave the hill in fam ivy-sized tubes on Avalanche Alley. It’s all about the snow in the SnowZone – a winter play land full of real snow and activities for the little ones with Penguin Run and Little Angels. (starts in November; check website for dates)

There are several restaurants in the park and many more in the nearby town of Stone Mountain just outside the park. My favorite restaurant was The Commons inside the park. Sit on the patio with a gorgeous view of the lake and the mountain. While you are here you might consider a side trip to the Coca-Cola Museum in Atlanta. You’ll be glad you did.Need More Adventure
